Donate Compact and Utility Trailers to Expand Our Field Capacity

Pickup trucks and vans

At Refugee Pathways and Integration Canada Inc. (RefPIC), a federally incorporated nonprofit (Corporation No. 1612970-6) and a registered Canadian charity (Registration No. 766957625RR0001), our mission is to advance the rights, dignity and self-reliance of refugees, displaced persons and host communities by delivering comprehensive services that connect urgent relief with long-term solutions. We provide education, counseling and a full range of support, including employment pathways, access to affordable housing, immigration assistance, orientation to Canadian culture and life, and humanitarian aid in crisis-affected regions. Whether working in Canada or internationally, we strive to help people move from displacement toward stability, opportunity and a true sense of belonging.

In humanitarian work, flexibility and storage are essential. Compact and utility trailers offer mobile capacity to move supplies, transport equipment, and support field-based programs where fixed infrastructure is limited or unavailable. Whether used to deliver educational kits, health equipment, construction tools, or emergency goods, trailers make it possible to respond quickly and effectively to urgent needs.

What We Accept

We welcome donations of new or gently used trailers in safe, transferable condition. Eligible types include:

• Enclosed cargo trailers used for sensitive materials and equipment

• Open flatbed or utility trailers suitable for construction and transport tasks

• Single-axle and dual-axle trailers with compatible hitches

• Compact trailer units designed for smaller vehicles or remote access

Donated trailers must be roadworthy, registered, and accompanied by clear ownership documentation.

How Trailers Are Used

Trailers help us move essential supplies across programs that operate in both urban and rural contexts. They carry materials for temporary classrooms, mobile clinics, transitional shelters, and community outreach sites. In remote or resource-limited areas, trailers serve as vital mobile extensions of our logistical network. All donated trailers are used in ways that directly support our charitable operations and are never deployed for personal or commercial purposes.

Tax Receipts and Valuation

We issue charitable donation receipts for accepted trailers based on their fair market value. Valuation may be determined using market comparisons, third-party assessments, or published listings. All receipts are issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations.

Donor Recognition and Visibility

Trailer donors are acknowledged in our annual donor listings and on our website. If deployed visibly in the field, trailers may carry donor identification, with permission, as part of our recognition practice.

How to Donate

To contribute a trailer, contact us at admin@refugeecanada.org or call (437) 566-2789. Supporting documents such as registration and maintenance records may be sent by fax to (416) 352-5361. We can coordinate logistics and documentation for pickup or delivery across Canada.

Your Trailer Donation Helps Carry the Work Further

A trailer can extend the reach of every service we offer. It can carry food to a shelter, books to a training centre, or medical kits to a field unit. Your donation helps us reach more people, deliver more impact, and respond wherever the need is greatest.
