Donate Surplus and Overstock Items to Support Refugee Programs

At Refugee Pathways and Integration Canada Inc. (RefPIC), a federally incorporated nonprofit (Corporation No. 1612970-6) and a registered Canadian charity (Registration No. 766957625RR0001), our mission is to advance the rights, dignity and self-reliance of refugees, displaced persons and host communities by delivering comprehensive services that connect urgent relief with long-term solutions. We provide education, counseling and a full range of support, including employment pathways, access to affordable housing, immigration assistance, orientation to Canadian culture and life, and humanitarian aid in crisis-affected regions. Whether working in Canada or internationally, we strive to help people move from displacement toward stability, opportunity and a true sense of belonging.
Every year, warehouses, distributors, retailers, and manufacturers contend with surplus inventory, discontinued products, or overstock items. Rather than disposing of these goods or absorbing the costs of liquidation, businesses can put them to meaningful use. By donating new or unused surplus items to RefPIC, you directly contribute to life-changing support for refugees while benefiting from charitable tax recognition. These items help equip our shelters, training centres, mobile programs, and community-based service hubs.

How Donations
Are UsedSurplus items are distributed through direct service programs across Canada and international humanitarian settings. Donations support the setup of transitional housing, education centres, skills training initiatives, psychosocial support spaces, or health outreach. Items are assigned according to operational need and are never sold for commercial profit. Every donation strengthens our ability to respond flexibly and effectively where the need is greatest.
Tax Receipts and Fair Market ValuationWe issue official charitable donation receipts in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. Receipts reflect fair market value as confirmed by supplier listings, donation records, or independent valuation where needed. For large-scale inventory or complex shipments, our team supports valuation and documentation processes.
Donor Recognition and Visibility
Corporate and institutional donors may be recognized through digital features, program acknowledgments, and public visibility campaigns. Donations that equip entire program sites or cover large quantities may qualify for special donor acknowledgment, co-branding, or field-level visibility, subject to programmatic relevance.

Make Space. Make Impact. Make a Difference.
A surplus pallet can restock a shelter. Overstock hygiene kits can bring comfort to those who’ve lost everything. When you donate excess inventory, you extend the life of your products while extending hope to displaced communities in need.
