At Refugee Pathways and Integration Canada Inc. (RefPIC), a federally incorporated nonprofit (Corporation No. 1612970-6) and a registered Canadian charity (Registration No. 766957625RR0001), our mission is to advance the rights, dignity and self-reliance of refugees, displaced persons and host communities by delivering comprehensive services that connect urgent relief with long-term solutions. We provide education, counseling and a full range of support, including employment pathways, access to affordable housing, immigration assistance, orientation to Canadian culture and life, and humanitarian aid in crisis-affected regions. Whether working in Canada or internationally, we strive to help people move from displacement toward stability, opportunity and a true sense of belonging.

Mobility matters in humanitarian work. In locations where road infrastructure is limited or traffic congestion slows down larger vehicles, motorcycles and scooters provide essential access. These vehicles allow our teams to reach remote communities, deliver supplies quickly, and ensure ongoing service to vulnerable individuals who might otherwise be overlooked.

What We Accept

We welcome new or gently used motorcycles and scooters that are in safe, serviceable, and legally transferable condition. This includes:

• Low-displacement motorcycles used for rural outreach or delivery

• Urban scooters suitable for short-range transport and errands

• Dual-sport or off-road models that navigate unpaved terrain

• Units with valid ownership documentation and standard safety features

Vehicles should be roadworthy or repairable and capable of carrying light cargo or a single passenger.

How Motorcycles and Scooters Are Used

These compact vehicles support frontline humanitarian operations by enabling staff to travel efficiently across urban and rural areas. They are used to deliver learning materials, transport staff to service sites, distribute hygiene supplies, and monitor project areas where access by larger vehicles is limited or cost prohibitive. Whether operating in a Canadian city or in rural settlements abroad, motorcycles and scooters help us maintain speed, reach, and consistency in service delivery.

Tax Receipts and Valuation

All accepted donations are receipted according to their fair market value, based on appraisals, published listings, or expert comparison tools. We comply fully with Canada Revenue Agency requirements for in-kind donations.

Donor Recognition and Visibility

We recognize donors on our website and annual acknowledgments. When feasible and appropriate, donated vehicles used in visible program delivery may display the donor's name or a simple decal as a mark of appreciation and transparency.

How to Donate

To donate a motorcycle or scooter, please contact us at admin@refugeecanada.org or call (437) 566-2789. You may also fax ownership documents to (416) 352-5361. We will guide you through the transfer process and arrange pickup or delivery as appropriate within Canada.

A Compact Vehicle Can Make a Wide Impact

A motorcycle can cross narrow roads to deliver a first aid kit. A scooter can carry outreach staff to places where public transit does not reach. These small vehicles help us extend care and presence. Your donation becomes a powerful tool of access and service.
