Donate a Light Passenger Vehicle to Help Drive Impact and Access

At Refugee Pathways and Integration Canada Inc. (RefPIC), a federally incorporated nonprofit (Corporation No. 1612970-6) and a registered Canadian charity (Registration No. 766957625RR0001), our mission is to advance the rights, dignity and self-reliance of refugees, displaced persons and host communities by delivering comprehensive services that connect urgent relief with long-term solutions. We provide education, counseling and a full range of support, including employment pathways, access to affordable housing, immigration assistance, orientation to Canadian culture and life, and humanitarian aid in crisis-affected regions. Whether working in Canada or internationally, we strive to help people move from displacement toward stability, opportunity and a true sense of belonging.

Transportation plays a vital role in ensuring that our services reach the people and places where they are most needed. Donated vehicles help us move staff, deliver materials, and extend essential programs into communities that might otherwise be difficult to access. They allow us to respond more quickly, operate more efficiently, and deliver meaningful support with greater consistency.

What We Accept

We welcome light passenger vehicles that are safe, roadworthy, or in good repairable condition. Suitable types include:

• Sedans used for daily coordination and outreach

• Sport Utility Vehicles with additional seating or cargo space

• Crossover vehicles ideal for flexible deployment

• Compact vans or hatchbacks designed for passenger or supply transport

All donated vehicles must come with valid ownership documentation and be suitable for legal transfer.

How Vehicles Are Used

Vehicles support the delivery of programs and services that fall squarely within our charitable mandate. They help transport personnel and resources to field locations, extend mobile support to underserved communities, and ensure consistent operations in environments where reliable transportation is essential. Vehicles are never used for private or commercial purposes. Every use is aligned with our mission to serve displaced individuals with dignity and purpose.

Tax Receipts and Valuation

Official charitable donation receipts are issued based on the fair market value of each accepted vehicle. Valuation may be determined through widely recognized sources such as Canadian Black Book, published market listings, or a qualified third-party appraisal. All receipting complies with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.

Donor Recognition and Visibility

We recognize vehicle donors through our official website and annual reporting. In cases where vehicles are assigned to public-facing program work, donor decals or acknowledgments may be added to the vehicle, subject to operational suitability and donor preference.

To donate a light passenger vehicle, please contact us at admin@refugeecanada.org or call (437) 566-2789. Ownership documents or inspection reports can be faxed to (416) 352-5361. We will assist with transfer arrangements and, where needed, can support towing or pickup in various parts of Canada.
