At Refugee Pathways and Integration Canada Inc. (RefPIC), a federally incorporated nonprofit (Corporation No. 1612970-6) and a registered Canadian charity (Registration No. 766957625RR0001), our mission is to advance the rights, dignity and self-reliance of refugees, displaced persons and host communities by delivering comprehensive services that connect urgent relief with long-term solutions. We provide education, counseling and a full range of support, including employment pathways, access to affordable housing, immigration assistance, orientation to Canadian culture and life, and humanitarian aid in crisis-affected regions. Whether working in Canada or internationally, we strive to help people move from displacement toward stability, opportunity and a true sense of belonging.

Functional, well-equipped workspaces are essential to the delivery of our mission. From administrative coordination to digital access, office equipment and electronic systems form the backbone of service delivery. Donated technology enables us to maintain reliable communications, manage information securely, and support both in-person and remote programs. In some settings, communications infrastructure—including radio broadcast systems, where permitted—enhances outreach to displaced or linguistically diverse populations. These assets are not optional conveniences but operational necessities that sustain daily activities across service hubs, learning centres, health points, and mobile units.

What We Accept

We welcome donations of new or gently used items in safe, working condition. Examples include:

• Desktop computers, laptops, and monitors

• Tablets, docking stations, and related accessories

• Printers, scanners, photocopiers, and fax machines

• Networking equipment such as modems, routers, and switches

• Projectors, PA systems, and videoconferencing tools

• Telephones, mobile handsets, and headset kits

• Filing cabinets, office desks, shelving units, and seating

• Surge protectors, backup batteries, and secure storage units

• Broadcast or radio communication equipment for field outreach (subject to applicable legal requirements)

We also welcome donations of institutional-grade infrastructure from public, private, or corporate sources, provided all items are legally transferable and suitable for programmatic use.

How Equipment Is Used

Donated items are deployed to strengthen operational capacity across all our programming contexts. These include administrative coordination, recordkeeping, remote service delivery, internal communications, volunteer training, resource distribution, and technical support. In outreach settings, approved communication systems can support timely information sharing, multilingual broadcasting, and program visibility. Every piece of equipment is used exclusively to support charitable activities, in line with our mission and regulatory obligations.

Tax Receipts and Valuation

We provide official charitable donation receipts based on the fair market value of accepted items. Valuation is determined using published price lists, third-party appraisals, or comparable resale data. All receipting complies with CRA regulations on in-kind contributions.

Donor Recognition and Visibility

We acknowledge all qualifying donors through our website and relevant program materials. If donated items are used in visible program contexts or outreach hubs, donor recognition may also be displayed on devices or infrastructure where appropriate and mutually agreed upon.

How to Donate

To contribute office, IT, or electronic equipment, please contact us at admin@refugeecanada.org or call (437) 566‑2789. Supporting documentation or photos may be faxed to (416) 352‑5361. For bulk or institutional donations, our logistics team can assist with pickup, evaluation, and deployment planning across Canada.

Equip the Systems That Keep Services Running

An operational network makes programs possible. A donated monitor helps someone complete their training. A server keeps casework data safe. A broadcast system can reach a community without walls. Your equipment donation becomes the infrastructure behind impact.
